NU Swim the Charles is a study of the Charles River relating to water quality. We will be comparing Boston's water with 4 other rivers in Europe and presenting them at a Charles River swim race once we get back. Our Professor, Fredi Hellweger, has done research on the Charles River for some time now. His goal is to make the Charles River swimmable to the general public on a regular basis. He will be swimming a mile in the Charles River once we get back.
